1. Shop Information (Provided by Shopify): When you install the App, Shopify provides us with basic information about your store, including your shop domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com). We use this information to:

   • Manage your subscription status.
   • Provide customer support.
2. Subscription Status (Metafield): To manage access to our App’s features based on your subscription, we create a single, non-personal metafield on your Shop object (shop.metafields.satc_pro.subscription_status). This metafield stores only your current plan status (e.g., “active”, “inactive”).

Information We DO NOT Collect

To be perfectly clear, we DO NOT collect, store, track, or have access to any of your customers’ Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This includes:

• Customer names, emails, or physical addresses.
• Order details or purchase history.
• IP addresses or browsing behavior.

Our App operates entirely on your storefront and within the Shopify Admin. It does not transmit any customer data to our servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain the App: Ensuring the sticky bar functions correctly and managing your subscription.
• To Provide Customer Support: Responding to your inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
• To Comply with Legal Obligations: Adhering to Shopify’s App Store requirements and legal regulations like GDPR.

Data Retention and Deletion

If you uninstall the App, all associated session data and the subscription status metafield are automatically removed in accordance with Shopify’s data protection requirements. You can also request deletion of any data associated with your shop by contacting us.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

We are fully compliant with GDPR. We act as a “Data Processor” for the shop information provided by Shopify. As we do not collect personal data from your customers, GDPR requirements related to end-customer data do not apply to the App.
